Martyrs, prisoners deserve our special prayers: JKDFP | KNO

Srinagar, June 01 (KNO) : Expressing serious concern over plight of prisoners lodged in Tihar jail, Delhi in particular, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) Saturday appealed the faithful to pray for the safety of all the Kashmiri political prisoners on eve of Eid-ul-Fitr. The JKDMP Spokesperson in a statement issued to KNO extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslim Ummah in general and oppressed Kashmiris in particular. “We owe a lot to our great martyrs who have laid down their precious lives for the cause of freedom, so every one of us must take care of the families of the martyred and visit their houses to exhibit solidarity with their families. In the same way, the prisoners languishing in different jails of the state and outside are scripting a new history of resistance especially; those who are languishing in Tihar, Jail, Delhi including JKDFP chief, Shabir Shah are facing lot of hardships in the infamous fail. We must pray for the safety of Shabir Shah, who is suffering from many serious ailments. All the political prisoners and others lodged in different jails are facing political vendetta and deserve our especial prayers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, he added.(KNO)
